Linda J. Rios

A native New Mexican, I earned my Masters Degree in Public Administration and then my Juris Doctorate both from the University of New Mexico. I have been practicing law since 1997 and I’m licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, Federal District Court, and NM Courts. I gained extensive trial experience while a trial attorney with the Public Defender Office and have tried numerous civil jury trials and arbitrations. I have tried over 100 bench trials and more than 70 civil and criminal jury trials. My practice focuses on personal injury cases and insurance claims. I represent those injured in auto wrecks, tractor trailor crashes, motor cycle crashes, drunk driving crashes, slip and falls, dog bites, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, medical malpractice and insurance cases. I speak Spanish fluently. Our clients are very improtant to us. At the Rios Law Firm we work as a team to protect our clients and their rights. My practice is built on personalized advice and aggressive representation. Our team cares about each client and  provides personalized, detailed attention on an individual basis.  When you hire me, I’m making a long term commitment to you and your case. Michael Solon

Mike was born and raised in Albuquerque. He received a B.B.A. from the University of New Mexico and then worked as a legal assistant at a local law firm. After serving the legal community for several years, he realized his passion for seeking justice on behalf of those who have been wronged. Mike made the decision to pursue his calling and become an attorney. He attended Baylor University School of Law – also known as the Marine boot camp of law schools for its rigorous curriculum. Baylor has a longstanding reputation of producing well prepared trial attorneys, and Mike thrived in this high pressure environment. Following his graduation from law school in 2016, Mike returned home to New Mexico. He passed the bar exam and was officially sworn in as a member of the New Mexico Bar Association on September 20, 2016. Mike joined the team at Rios Law Firm in October. Mike is the son of an Albuquerque trial attorney. Mike not only looks forward to following in his father’s footsteps, but also furthering his pursuit of service to his clients and the New Mexico legal community.

Daniel P. Ulibarri

Daniel P. Ulibarri is a trial attorney with the Rios Law Firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He was admitted to practice in Texas and in New Mexico in 1995. He joined Rios Law Firm in 2019.  

Before joining the Rios Law Firm, Daniel was the Senior litigator for Liberty Mutual and had focused on defending large corporate entities and individuals sued in catastrophic injury cases.  

Prior to Liberty Mutual, Daniel was the managing attorney for Government Employees Insurance Company at the Law Office of Daniel P. Ulibarri in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  While there, he successfully defended a number of individuals and corporations in trials in the County District Courts and represented corporate clients in the New Mexico Court of Appeals.  

Prior to GEICO, Daniel was managing partner in his own firm, O’Brien & Ulibarri, P.C.  Over more than a decade he worked in the areas of insurance bad faith, coverage, products liability, property owner liability, commercial liability and construction defect as well as other litigation matters.  He has received defense verdicts for individuals and corporations against product liability, bad faith and complex personal injury claims.  

In addition to his trial experience, Daniel has successfully briefed and argued many appellate issues before New Mexico’s Court of Appeals and Supreme Court as well as in the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts in Human Communication from Texas Christian University and his Juris Doctorate from the Baylor University School of Law.
